When creating an elegant Maddox bed for Lema, the experts at Dainelli Studio drew inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci's flying machines with their characteristic wooden hulls and unusual wings. Combining exquisite wood and leather, they designed a streamlined structure with unconventional detailing. The bed frame is made of heat-treated oak-dyed ash, and the headboard comes in light structural leather, with two cushions upholstered in fabric or leather. Maddox will become the focal point of any bedroom; it can be placed both against the wall and in the centre of the room. While exemplifying contemporary design, this piece pays tribute to the traditional craftsmanship behind furniture manufacturing with its century-old history.
