The Rapa Nui console table derives its name from the legendary Easter Island, which is called Rapa Nui by the locals. Its shape is inspired by the natural beauty of stones. It is most evident in two boulder-shaped legs of the base, available in white or grey cement. The top is made of solid Canaletto walnut, natural or burned oak, and features irregular edges. The use of such contrasting materials and “imperfect” shapes makes this console table a great counterbalance to the precise lines and ton-sur-ton palettes of many modern interiors.
